U.S. Army Honors VLS with a 2006 Army SBIR and STTR Quality Award VLS has been selected for a 2006 Army SBIR and STTR Quality Award for a project titled "Developing a Seamless Integration Between Machine Learning Techniques and Rule-Based Classification of Remotely Sensed Imagery." The Army SBIR and STTR Quality Awards Program recognizes small business and Program Administrators from Army participating organizations for e xceptional performance that exemplifies the goal of bringing innovative technologies to the Soldier. This year, 254 Phase II projects were eligible to receive the award, and VLS' project was one of 6 Quality Award winners. A formal ceremony will take place for award recipients at the Pentagon in late August, hosted by the Honorable Claude M. Bolton, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. |
