VLS offers a complete course on the use of LIDAR Analyst® software. Instructors will provide an in-depth understanding of LIDAR Analyst functions and workflows for cartographic data production.

Training courses emphasize techniques for accurate and fast extraction approaches including:

1. Understanding LIDAR Analyst basics such as displaying your lidar data and extracting the bare earth profile

2. Identifying specified features of interest including buildings, treees, and more

3. Making adjustments for building features such as roof types, building height, etc.

4. Adjusting tree features such as canopy width and forest density

5. Viewing your feature model in 3D
